“And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for I am in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass as it is this day, to save much people alive.” Genesis 50:19-20
In chapter 45, I see a beautiful picture of peace and restored relationships. After Joseph revealed his identity, he assured his brothers that what had happened to him was God’s plan. Joseph released them from their burden of guilt. Once they recovered from their shock that Joseph was alive, they sat down and talked about how things had changed. The formerly despised brother was now a powerful leader. The guilty brothers are not only forgiven but protected and provided for by the one they had done wrong. The aging father still grieving over the loss of his beloved son learned that he is not only alive, but greatly honored; he will soon see him again. A family struggling to survive the famine is promised the best that Egypt has to offer.
When God takes evil and works good out of it, unbelievable things happens. And, It’s all because of GRACE! The New Testament illustrates the embodiment of grace in a human form, with remarkable events unfolding following Jesus' arrival on Earth.
Can you identify a perplexing or seemingly meaningless issue in your life?
Let Jesus fix it for you. he knows just what to do. Whenever you pray let Him have His way and He will fix it for you.
And remember, God’s grace is sufficient for all. Think about it. Amen.
